HOT LAPS @ TIMARU
Situation
NZV8 Hot Laps can on occasions utilise the
Timaru International Raceway (Levels) to undertake our Holden V8 Hot Lap &
Race Experience activities... However, this is dependent upon achieving
sufficient attendee numbers to warrant running a day at this venue.
Levels is situated in a rural setting on Fahey's Road, near the Timaru Airport,
8km from Timaru and is operated by the South Canterbury Car Club. It is an ideal
club racing circuit.
Facilities
NZV8 Hot Laps utilises the
circuit clubrooms as its base.
It is approximately 7km to the
nearest food outlet.
Accommodation
There is a wide selection of hotels and motels
in Timaru.
Nearest Major Airport
Timaru Airport and Christchurch International
Airport.
Frequency of Visits
Most of the central South Island clients
prefer to attend our Holden V8 Hot Laps & Race Experience activities at the
Ruapuna Park Raceway in Christchurch, which is approximately
1½ hours drive North from
Timaru...
however Levels can be utilised if required, subject to minimum attendance numbers.
Available Hot Lap Dates
V8 Hot Laps are only conducted at this venue subject to sufficient minimum
participant numbers being pre-confirmed onto the programmed date.
Prior approval of the venue operators is also required.

The next Holden V8 Hot Lap date at Levels Raceway is currently
pencilled for Friday the 25th November 2011
Available positions are strictly limited and are allocated on a first come,
first reserved basis.
