Situation
NZV8 Hot Laps principally and exclusively utilises the New Zealand Grand Prix race circuit @ Manfeild Park Raceway in the Manawatu as our primary, regular and preferred Central North Island race track venue for our Holden V8 Hot Laps...

However, subject to availability and a sufficient minimum number of confirmed and pre-booked attendees, we can endeavour to arrange the utilisation of Taupo Motorsport Park, if specifically required.
This venue is situated on the corner of Centennial Drive and Broadlands Road, 8km North East of Taupo.

The next NZV8 Hot Lap event is currently programmed for Taupo Motorsport Park on the 7th March 2012.
Taupo Motorsport Park is ideally located and positioned in one of the country's premier tourist and conference centres and it has been extensively refurbished and extended into a variety of varying track configurations.

If you are considering having your company conference or group sales meeting in Taupo at any stage in the future, then please don't hesitate to contact us early and well in advance, so as we can enquire as to the Taupo venue availability.
Venue date availability @ Taupo is historically limited and requires plenty of prior notification so as to configure it to co-incide with your other intended activities.

Facilities
NZV8 Hot Laps utilises the pit garaging and/or a corporate suite as its operational base.
It is approximately 6km to the nearest food outlet.  
On-site catering may be available by prior arrangement for corporate/special events subject to attendance numbers.
The Taupo circuit historically does unfortunately suffer from the extremes of the prevailing weather conditions... extreme wind, dust, cold, heat and rain.

Accommodation
Being a popular tourist and conference centre, there's an extensive selection of hotels and motels in Taupo.
Whenever our Advanced Driving Team are in Taupo, they prefer and choose to stay at the Quest Taupo Apartments.

Taupo Airport.  

Rental Vehicle Location
AVIS & Thrifty Car Rentals are available by arrangement from the Taupo or Rotorua airports.

Frequency of Courses
Taupo Motorsport Park is only utilised as required, subject to minimum attendee numbers.  
We conduct courses and our V8 Hot Lap & Race Experience sessions at Taupo only on an as and when required basis.
The NZV8 Hot Lap Team and the vast majority of our participants far prefer the New Zealand Grand Prix circuit @ Manfeild Park in the Manawatu.
