HOT LAPS @
INVERCARGILL
Situation
NZV8 Hot Laps principally utilises Manfeild in
the Manawatu and Pukekohe Park in Auckland as the primary venues for our Holden
V8 Hot Laps activities...
However, subject to availability and a
sufficient group booking we are able to transport one or both of our Holden V8 race vehicles down to the South Island and then utilise the
Teretonga Park Raceway which is situated on Domain Road, off Dunns Highway,
approximately 8km west of Invercargill via Otatara.
Teretonga Park is renown as the southern most
circuit in the world and is set in a tranquil domain which also encompasses
sports fields, speedway track, water-ski club, etc.
Teretonga Park is a
favourite venue of our staff who always enjoy working there (no matter what the
weather) due to the circuit design and the famous local southern hospitality.
Facilities
NZV8 Hot Laps utilises the
Southland Sports Car Club's corporate lounge facilities, which are located in
the centre of the circuit, as its driver training & V8 Hot Laps base.
Apart from a nearby dairy, food outlets are
8km away in Invercargill.
On-site catering is
available by arrangement for corporate or special events subject to
numbers.
Accommodation
There is a good selection of hotels and motels in
Invercargill.
Whenever our Advanced Driver Training team are in Invercargill, they prefer
and choose to
stay exclusively at the 295 On Tay Motel.
Nearest Major Airport
Invercargill Airport is 2km from Invercargill and
6km from Teretonga Park.
Rental Vehicle
Location
AVIS & Thrifty Car Rentals are available from the Invercargill Airport.
Frequency of Visits
We conduct training in the South Island generally
2-3 times a year...
We would usually do 1-2 consecutive
days per visit.
NZV8
Hot Laps is ONLY conducted at Invercargill subject to minimum attendance
numbers making it financially viable to warrant the extra cost of transporting
our Holden V8 Hot Laps
vehicles down to the South Island.

Available positions are strictly limited and are allocated on a first come,
first reserved basis.
Prior confirmed bookings are essential and can be arranged by ringing our office

Our next subsequent visit to Teretonga Park after that is currently being
envisaged around August/September 2012
