Holden Hot Laps @ Christchurch 

Situation
Holden Hot Laps principally utilises Manfeild in the Manawatu and Pukekohe Park in Auckland as the primary venues for the Holden Hot Laps...

However, subject to availability and a sufficient group booking we are able to transport one or both of our Holden V8 race vehicles down to the South Island and then utilise the Powerbuilt Raceway, Ruapuna which is situated 13km south-west of Christchurch on Hasketts Road between the Main South and Main West Highways.

Powerbuilt Raceway is the centre of this multi motorsports facility which incorporates the circuit, drag strip and speedway all in close proximity to each other.

This is easily the South Island's premier driving facility.

Facilities
Holden Race Experience utilises a corporate hospitality area adjoining the circuit as its operational base.

There is only limited food options available 5 minutes drive from the venue at Templeton.  
On-site catering is available by arrangement for corporate or special events subject to numbers.

Accommodation
There is a numerous selection of hotels and motels in Christchurch and districts.
Whenever the Holden Race Experience Team are in Christchurch, they prefer to stay at the Clyde on Riccarton and choose to dine at Sophies Café.

Nearest Major Airport
Christchurch International Airport.  

Rental Vehicle Locations
AVIS & Thrifty Car Rentals are available from both Christchurch City and the Airport.

Frequency of Visits
We conduct driver training in the South Island generally 3-4 times a year subject to demand.  
We would usually do 2-3 consecutive courses per visit.
Holden Hot Laps is only conducted at Ruapuna subject to minimum attendance numbers making it financially viable to warrant the extra cost of transporting our Holden Hot Laps vehicles down to Christchurch.
